2023年11月に、秋田県の佐竹知事が愛媛県の名物であるじゃこ天を「貧乏くさい」と発言したことをきっかけに全国でじゃこ天騒動が勃発しました。以降、秋田県と愛媛県の県民が協力してじゃこ天ときりたんぽ鍋の「なかよしセット」を販売するなど、友好関係を深めています。これを機に秋田県と愛媛県の更なるコラボレーションを促進するため、メタ秋田が「秋田犬 × じゃこ天NFT」をデザインしました。

秋田犬 x じゃこ天NFTのデザインには、秋田が誇る「秋田犬」と「きりたんぽ鍋」、愛媛の有名な産物「じゃこ天」や「柑橘類」、観光名所である「瀬戸大橋」があしらわれています。また、本NFTの保有者は、メタ秋田が発売した秋田犬NFTの保有特典（ユーティリティ）を享受いただけます。

Leveraging technology and aiming for regional revitalization with a global perspective, Meta Akita (https://akitainu-hozonkai.com/metaakita/en/ ) hopes for mutual support and development between Akita and Ehime prefectures. In line with this vision, we have initiated the donation program through the sale of Akita-inu x Jakoten NFTs. The NFT sales will be donated by Meta Akita to Ehime Prefecture.

[Akita & Ehime Prefectures]
In November 2023, Governor of Akita Prefecture triggered a nationwide controversy by describing Jakoten, a special food of Ehime Prefecture, as "looks poor." Subsequently, residents of Akita and Ehime prefectures got upset with his statement and cooperated to enhance friendly relations, promoting the sale of a collaborative set featuring Jakoten and Kiritanpo hot pot.
Meta Akita also has designed the "Akita-inu x Jakoten NFT" to further encourage collaboration between Akita and Ehime prefectures.

[Akita-inu x Jakoten NFT]
The design of the Akita-inu x Jakoten NFT features elements that showcase Akita's pride, including the "Akita-inu" and "Kiritanpo hot pot," as well as Ehime's famous products like "Jakoten" and "citrus fruits," along with the iconic tourist spot, the "Seto Ohashi Bridge." Additionally, holders of this NFT will be entitled to the utility benefits, which are the same ones as Meta Akita's previously released Akita-inu NFTs.
